Evidence-based advice on healthy skin, aesthetic treatments and healthy ageing delivered straight to your inbox.
I’m a Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber with more than 30 years’ experience in healthcare. Throughout my career, I’ve worked across clinical practice, education and clinical research, experiences that continue to influence the way I care for every patient today.
When I moved into aesthetic medicine, I made a conscious decision that I wanted my clinic to reflect the same professional standards I’d worked to throughout my nursing career. That means taking time to understand each patient’s concerns, providing honest advice and recommending treatments because they’re appropriate—not because they’re fashionable.
I don’t believe every patient needs the latest treatment, and I don’t believe the same treatment is right for everyone. My role is to listen, assess and help you make informed decisions about your skin, using treatments that are supported by evidence and tailored to your individual needs.
For me, the most rewarding part of my job isn’t simply performing treatments. It’s seeing patients grow in confidence because they’ve been listened to, understood and cared for.
One of the biggest influences on the way I practise today came from my background in clinical research. I helped deliver a large randomised controlled trial that focused on behaviour change and supporting people to make realistic, sustainable changes that improved their long term health.
That experience taught me that lasting results rarely come from quick fixes. Whether we’re caring for skin or supporting healthier ageing, meaningful improvements are usually achieved through personalised, evidence-informed care and realistic expectations.
Those principles continue to guide every recommendation I make. Sometimes that means recommending treatment. Sometimes it means advising a different approach. Occasionally, it means advising that no treatment is needed at all.
Over the years, my interest in prevention and healthy ageing naturally led me to establish Maverick Longevity & Wellness. While this is a separate area of my practice, it reflects the same philosophy that underpins everything I do: helping people make informed decisions based on the best available evidence.
Whether you visit me for an aesthetic treatment or choose to explore healthy ageing in more detail, my commitment remains the same—to provide honest advice, personalised care and treatments that are appropriate for you.
Every patient who walks through my clinic door is different. My commitment is to provide honest advice, evidence-informed recommendations and treatments that are appropriate for you as an individual.
I continue to invest in professional development and regularly review emerging research so that any new treatment I introduce has a clear place within my practice. I don’t believe in offering treatments simply because they’re new or fashionable—only those I believe are supported by good clinical evidence and capable of delivering safe, natural-looking results.
Whether you visit me for an aesthetic treatment or simply want honest, professional advice about your skin, my commitment remains the same—to provide personalised care, evidence-informed recommendations and treatments that are appropriate for you.

Confidence comes from feeling comfortable in your own skin - that's what every treatment I offer is designed to help my patients achieve, safely and effectively.
